Because the liner is constructed with an outer and inner jacket, there is no migration of styrene, which occurs with felt lining systems. That means uniform thickness throughout the pipe.

The liner is cured using UV light instead of steam or hot water, which means its effectiveness is not influenced by environmental temperatures or groundwater levels. This allows it to adapt to any shape or construction of the host pipe, becoming a new structural pipe with a lifespan of 75-00 years.

What is UV CIPP?

UV CIPP stands for ultraviolet cured-in-place pipe. This is a trenchless pipe-lining method, which means no digging is required. Using fiberglass-reinforced liners cured with UV light creates a stronger, longer-lasting bond than felt or resin liners cured with steam or water.

Once we clean and prep the pipe surface, we position the liner inside it, inflate it with compressed air, and insert a UV light system to begin the curing process. The process can be completed within minutes so you can get back to serving America’s communities right away.

How long does UV CIPP last?

UV CIPP liners are designed to last from 75 to 100 years with proper maintenance. As a fully structural solution, these liners are a powerful alternative to full pipe replacement or less efficient CIPP methods.
